December 10 on 10

Tis the season!  Every year I say I want to get a real tree and every year I put up this fake tree that looks fake but its whole three pieces are so easy to put together and the lights are already on and working!  How can I say no?  Haha! Anyways, we started the new elf on the shelf tradition this year thanks to my sister in law and the girls could not be happier with them!  Names are Larry and Lucius and will not be appearing in any of the photos.  I had no intentions of Christmas cards this year but since Sid was already dressed in her Santa pajamas and Ad dressed herself that morning and it matched the theme of things I figured why not!

That big bear Ad got for Christmas last year and they love it!  When they play house Adrain says he's the dad, she's the mom, and Sid's the baby.  Sid calls the bear Daddy now!

November 10 on 10

Well its been a while since I've posted due to not enough time in a day LOL!  Also this is more like a 10 on 5 since I documented the 5th of the month.  Either way its a single day of my babies lives that I get to share with you.

Yes this is real life people!  If ones gotta go the other is running behind!  Its been too many times where I have lived the Clorox bleach commercial where the little toddler is so proud of himself for using his potty, he carries the bowl out to show his mom but there is nothing left inside of it.  Yeah that's Sid to the T!  She has been potty training for four months now and when I started I would leave the potty in the living room so it would make it easier for her if she had to go.  Once she got the hang of it and she knew the routine of emptying her little bowl into the big bowl  in the bathroom she started to do it herself only to miss most of the big bowl!  Hey at least she tried!

Her all time favorite part is washing her hands.  She could play in the water all day if I let her.

This angle showed less of my toy filled house!  No matter how many times I say pick one toy at a time it just doesn't get through to these people!  They look me dead in the eye and bring out more toys.

Both the girls love Frank!  The first thing Sid says when she wakes up is, "Frankie"! He has a love hate relationship with them though.  He loves when they feed him whether its on purpose or if its him stealing their food off the table.  He hates when they try to initiate a hug or lay in his bed.  He's a moody dog LOL!

If Ad runs then Sid runs.  She's always right behind her like a little chicken!  A few times a day I just stare at the two of them interacting and I can honestly say that life is amazing!

Who doesn't love the fall!

August 10 on 10

This 10 on 10 is taking place in Florida.   Adrain and I along with our cousins came to see my own little sis graduate from Florida State University!  Sid couldn't make the appearance this post but she will be back for next month haha!

Striking a pose is nothing new to this chick!  She could care less who's watching!

July 10 on 10

Today flew by just like most of our days!  I can't believe it's already July!  I'm really trying hard to savor summer but I feel like it's a rug being pulled out from under my feet.  Oh well, life goes on!

The girls woke up this morning on the right side of the bed which was a plus for me!  Just before breakfast Adrain decided to put on a song and dance for Sid and as you can see it was greatly appreciated.
Sid has already decided that she is a semi vegetarian at the ripe age of  23 months.  The only meat product that she will eat is an occasional egg.
We got a text message this morning saying that our sweet little neighbor had broken her elbow while on vacation.  We paid a visit to see how she was holding up and don't let this sitting in bed shot fool you!  She was running and playing with the best of them and besides the awesome cast you couldn't even tell anything was wrong.  When your four years old nothing gets in the way of playing with friends.  Now on the other hand if it was me, I would be spread out in bed watching Sons of Anarchy on Netflix.

Adrain was happy to write her name on her friends cast!

Ad and Sid played with the checkers pieces at Cracker Barrel, one of our favorite breakfast spots.  We had a lunch date with Titi Maria.

My favorite photos are of genuine affection.  I literally get the chills when I see it!  I know corny, but inspiring.

 Frank!

I love those freckles and that wispy toddler hair!

 Frank again!

Last but not least an evening trip to Walmart.  This thing Adrain's doing with her face, hand, and tongue is to a total stranger.  The lady was very nice.  Lets hope we don't get tagged in, "The People of Walmart."

June 10 on 10

Today wasn't too eventful for us.  Just all the regular routines of the day except I carried my camera around.  I have to say it was nice to take some new pictures.  Sometimes I go awhile without taking these photos of my kids.  Even though these are everyday routines I am so happy to be able to document them!

Every single morning I wake up to find this one in my bed!  Sometimes I don't even feel her come in.  The first thing that comes out of her mouth every morning is, " Can I watch videos?"  She loves to watch videos of her and her sister.  She lays there every morning with her favorite pink blanket.  It's a morning ritual for her.
I have this wonderful new neighbor who has taught me not to stress so much about the small things with my kids.  I usually like to dress my girls in styles of clothing made for most adults.  I like skinny jeans and sweaters, mid calf boots and scarves.  I've come to realize that Adrain has a different style of clothing. She likes tutu's and tappy shoes, colorful dresses, and mismatched tops and bottoms.  It makes her so happy to dress herself now so I don't stess it anymore.  This morning we went to take our dog Frank for a walk, I told Adrain to get her shoes on.  She came out wearing her princess heals!  She cracks me up!  The wedgie was the cherry on the cake.

Stop and Shop run to get some corn and watermelon.

Sid just hanging out after her mid day shop.

Every day after we pick Adrain up from preschool she shares whatever is left of her snack with her little sis.  Today it was blueberries.

Just a little stop on the way to the park.

Bottom of the slide.

A healthy snack of watermelon.  Frank enjoys table scraps of any sort.

Tub time!

Story time for Adrain.  Sid was down for the count.
